Dr. Lisa Cohen

Veterinarian / Owner

Dr. Cohen's Bio

Dr. Lisa Cohen graduated from Ontario Veterinary College in 2016. Before that, she attended the University of Western Ontario, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, Honours Double Major in Psychology and Biology.

Throughout her time in vet school, Dr. Cohen took every opportunity to travel and volunteer with animals internationally. Since graduating, she has been caring for companion animals across the greater Toronto area.
Dr. Cohen has a special interest in the areas of dermatology, nutrition, and pain management. She understands how pets are a member of your family and will always strive to treat them as her own.

On a personal note, Lisa enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and staying active. Above all, she loves to spend time with her family, and her rescue beagle Sullivan.

Dr. Danielle Snow

Veterinarian / Owner
Dr. Snow's Bio

Dr. Danielle Snow has been caring for companion animals in the greater Toronto area since 2016 after graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph. Prior to completing her Doctor of Veterinary medicine, Dr. Snow attended Western University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science with an Honours specialization in Psychology and a minor in Medical Science.

Dr. Snow has a special interest in ophthalmology, surgery, and preventative wellness care. Her favorite aspect of her job is being part of the human-animal bond experience between pets and their owners! She is also Fear Free certified.

When not at the clinic, Danielle can be found spending time with her large extended family, including her dog Winnie. She also loves to travel when she can find the time!

Alison N

Dr. Alison Norwich

Veterinarian

Dr. Norwich's Bio

Dr. Alison Norwich grew up in midtown Toronto and ventured into the veterinary world at age 16 with her high school co-op placement. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University, while spending her summers back home working at local vet clinics. She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2011.

After working at a handful of clinics in Toronto over the past ten years, Alison is thrilled to have found her home with the College Street team. Professionally, Alison is passionate about internal medicine, cardiology, and preventive healthcare. She also brings with her several years of experience in emergency medicine.

Alison lives downtown with her family and dog, Andrew. Outside of work, Alison enjoys yoga, reading, dancing, and most of all, eating (preferably on a patio).

Dr. Jeff Odell

Veterinarian

Dr. Odell's Bio

Dr Jeff Odell graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1998 and has practiced in several small animal clinics throughout Ontario since then. Jeff has a special interest in surgery and dentistry.  When not busy at the clinic, Jeff likes to spend his time playing hockey, biking and scuba diving.  

Dr. Michelle Marcus

Veterinarian

Dr. Marcus's Bio
Dr. Michelle Marcus graduated with distinction from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph. Prior to this, she received a Bachelor of Science with an Honors Specialization in Psychology from Western University.

Michelle was fortunate to have had a family dog for close to 16 years and understands the importance of the human-animal bond. Michelle’s professional interests include preventative medicine and wellness, internal medicine, pain management and senior pet care. She is also Fear Free certified. Her favourite part of the job is forming meaningful relationships with her patients and their families, and she is passionate about giving her patients the loving care that they deserve.

Outside of the clinic, Michelle enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active, travelling, and she is a proud volunteer at Campfire Circle. Most of all, she loves spending time with her friends and family, including their dog Hazel.

Caitlin Faragher, RVT

Practice Manager / Registered Veterinary Technician
Caitlin's Bio
Caitlin has the hybrid position of Registered Veterinary Technician and Manager at CSAH. Caitlin has worked within small animal practices, in emergency care and teaches in Veterinary technician and Veterinary Assistant programs at Seneca College. Prior to entering the veterinary world, Caitlin graduated from Queens University with a degree in film and communication. She had a short career in marketing before going back to school to pursue her dream of working with animals. Caitlin has a tremendous passion for Veterinary Medicine. She loves to volunteer for outreach and spay/neuter programs within the community and foster animals when she can. She spends her off time with her Boxer-cross Greg and the newest addition to her family, a Great Pyrenees puppy named Dottie

Monica McCarthy, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician
Monica's Bio

Monica has been an RVT since 2014, after graduating with Honours from Seneca College’s Veterinary Technician program, and completing the Veterinary Technician National Exam. Originally from Ireland, she currently lives in Toronto with her husband Matt and black rescue cat Edwin. She is very excited to become part of the excellent medical team here at College Street Animal Hospital.

Christina Kenins, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

Christina's Bio

Christina began their career in veterinary medicine in 2012 and has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2021, after graduating with honours from Seneca College’s Veterinary Technician program.

Christina has special interests in internal medicine, anesthesia, geriatric care and feline-friendly practice, which they pursue both in emergency/ referral medicine and in general practice as a part of the College Street Animal Hospital team.

Christina lives in the east end with their senior tabby, Ovid, and their rescue dog, Rudy.

Kara Pollock, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

Kara's Bio

Kara has been an RVT since 2017, graduating from the Veterinary Technician program at Sheridan College and passing the VTNE, but has been working in the veterinary industry since 2013. Kara has always had a love of animals and began horse back riding competitively at the age of 7. Now, she is a city girl, who lives with her dog Zoe and her rescue cat Tofu. Kara has a special interest and background in oncology and internal medicine, before finding her home at College Street Animal Hospital. When not covered in fur, you can find Kara on the dance floor as she is an avid salsa dancer.

Hayley L.

Veterinary Technician

Hayley's Bio

Hayley has always been delighted by the mere presence of both wild and domestic animals. While studying at McMaster, she also volunteered at various small animal hospitals where her interest in pursuing a career within the veterinary field blossomed. Hayley’s professional interests include pain management, anesthesia, ultrasonography, and palliative care. Outside of the clinical setting, she enjoys 90s rock, sci-fi, historical literature, and spending time up North with her partner and rottie-shepherd, Winnie.

Rebecca Keddy

Animal Care Assistant
Rebecca's Bio
Rebecca was born and raised in the Toronto area. She has always had animals in her life from a young age. Shortly after graduating high school in 2013, she started working in the veterinary industry giving her a breadth of experience! She has a husky/Blue heeler mix named Leo, a husky named Lucy, and a Chihuahua named Timmy. She has a great attitude and is always ready to pull up her sleeves to give a hand.

Courteney Lew

Animal Care Assistant

Courteney's Bio
Courteney brings a unique blend of historical insight and hands-on animal care experience to our team. She holds a degree in History from Queen’s University, where she developed a keen analytical mind and a passion for learning. Following her academic pursuits, Courteney shifted her focus to her lifelong love for animals by completing her Animal Care program at Durham College.

In her role as an Animal Care Attendant, Courteney is dedicated to providing compassionate and attentive care to all our patients. Her background in history enriches her approach to animal care with a thoughtful and detail-oriented perspective. Courteney’s commitment to animal welfare is matched only by her enthusiasm for the outdoors; she enjoys hiking and exploring nature in her free time.

Courteney’s diverse background and personal interests make her a valued member of our team, contributing to a nurturing and knowledgeable environment for both pets and their owners.

Eden

Eden Willis

Receptionist

Eden's Bio

Eden has been an animal advocate for as long as she can remember. She is new to the veterinary industry but has enjoyed being a volunteer with the Etobicoke Humane Society for over 6 years. Eden is a devoted pet mom to her special needs cat Bobby and his older sisters Iggy and Ollie. She also enjoys taking her friend’s dogs on walks and hikes at least once a week. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with friends, or out enjoying the beautiful city.

Ryan Callaghan

Ryan's Bio

Ryan was born and raised in the Kawarthas. Between caring for family pets and spending countless days on his family farm, Ryan has always loved being surrounded by animals! Ryan moved to the city of Toronto 9 years ago, trying to find the perfect career. After wearing many different hats, Ryan found the veterinary industry two years ago and was instantly hooked! In his free time, Ryan enjoys theatre, live music, and spending time with furry friends!
